I am looking for suggestions on how to install a Torqeedo 403 on my PA 14 using the Hobie Powerpole Mount. Photos or video would be helpful. Thank you. New to the hobby and love it.

Hi

I installed the power pole on top of one off the scupperholes at the back. By doing that you have space to place the torqeedo at the back. I mounted the “ball” just before the point the kayak has the slight slope. My experience is that by doing it that way the torqeedo has a bit off cavitation. To solve that I think I will try to put a ramball at the back off the PA en mount the torqeedo on that. (Sorry for my poor English)

You can mount the power pole on top of one of the scupper holes at the back. By flipping the power pole you can still use the holes for your wheels.
