I have had been trying to purchase a H-Crate Soft Cover thru ACK since mid May. However, it has repeatedly been back order from Hobie. I am wondering what is so special about this soft cover and why it is so hard to find. I have also called around to several other dealers to find out they also don't have any. It surprises me that Hobie would offer a product and have such supply issues to it dealerships. Has anybody else had problems obtaining a H-Crate soft cover this season or know why there is a supply problem?

We had a defective zipper issue with stock earlier this season. We had to return the complete inventory to the vendor for rework and are still not fully back in stock. I believe we just received some this week.

Thanks, always wondered about that, the first one I bought had a slider that failed almost immediately, but was still functional with the other slider working. I bought it from ACK. When the other slider failed, I bought another from a local dealer, no problems so far. Useful item, I like mine.

Matt - Who should I contact if I have the defective zipper cover?

Girlfriend bought it for me (she said she thinks on Amazon?) so I can't really go back to the original seller.

The zipper teeth have mis aligned several times, and I dont want to risk my gear if/when turtle happens, i'd like to replace for the peace of mind. Also have no problem sending my defective one to you first i.e. proof of purchase.

Thanks for any help.
