I purchased my 2022 PA14 360MD in early December 2022 and have had her out on the lake about 10 times. I noticed that turning the 360 drive handle was difficult unless I took the weight of my feet and legs off the pedals. Without the weight of my legs on the peddles the drive seems to turn with no problem. This is how it's been since day-1. If I want to use the 360 capability of the drive I would remove my feet off the pedals, spin the handle, return feet on the pedals and proceed. I thought that it was normal until I saw Hobie videos of the MD360 drive where folks in the video had no trouble performing smooth turns while peddling. Anyone have a similar problem with a stiff-turning drive while pedaling? I have watched all the drive maintenance videos on adjustments. I hope to do some on-the-water testing this weekend. I hope it's not a compression belt tube adjustment. That looks like a real pain. BTW, my legs are not fat.

Yes I have the same issue although I don't really consider it a problem. I don't have to take my foot completely off the pedals I just need to stop peddling. I CAN turn while peddling but it definitely seems to put undue stress on the system and choose not to do it when at all possible.
I think it can be adjusted out with the belt tension/ or maybe the global adjustment, not sure, but I have not tried to do so, It just isn't that much of an issue for me.
