Hi guys,

I recently bought a pro angler, and the dealer included the standard cart with collars. This is the one with the plastic wheels, not the fatter "beach" wheels. I can't help but think these wheels are less than ideal, and was thinking of replacing them with some higher quality pneumatic tires. Has anyone replaced these successfully with a third-party wheel? If so, can you share results and what wheels you used? By my measurements, the hub length of the wheels will need to be just shy of 2", and the axle diameter looks to be 1/2".

Thanks.

The standard wheels have a very high capacity rating, so ideal for heavy loads... but not for soft ground or sand. That is what the Trax 2 cart is for. We don't have an upgrade tire for the standard frame.

Thanks Matt. If you say they're durable, I'll stop worrying and (pardon the pun) roll with those :-)

I knew Hobie didn't have a replacement/upgrade for that cart, but was assuming someone had found a 3rd-party pneumatic tire from like a hand-truck or something that would fit it.
