This may sound like a stupid question but I was wondering if you can paddle a pro angler at all. It is so wide I just didnt know if it was possible. The reason I ask is I fish in alot of places too shallow for the mirage drive and have to paddle. So this would be an issue for me. However I guess I could allways poll it. Just asking. Thanks for reading. |

sure. Texski here in Texas paddled around 12 hours down the Llano river.... didn't even take the mirage drive thinking it was too shallow and too many rapids. While it's certainly possible and I've done it the boat is a pig to paddle. I'm of average height 5'9" and the paddle that comes with the boat is way too short to get any semblance of a stroke with power in it. I think you need a paddle that's at least 6 inches longer and even then it's not going to be a easy paddle. The PA comes with the turbo fins for a reason.... you need them. The thing is of course on the heavy side due to it's size so it takes that much more oomphf to not only get it moving but to keep it moving. |

I have paddled my PA just to see what it was like. I have two torn rotator cuffs so I would not want to have to paddle the PA for long! |

I paddle it every time I go out, just to remind myself to take good care of the drive system. It is capable of being paddled, but not something I'd want to do over pedaling. You could get back home if you had to. |
