The Trax carts were just long enough, but after a mold change for the hull, not long enough for the keeper pin to work. The newer Trax 2 carts are now longer as is the standard cart. This is a VERY recent change.

For your cart... The carts works... the keeper does not.

If still new, the dealer may consider a swap. The cart you have works for every other Hobie model. Fyi... The Trax 2 is a bit more expensive.

You can always ask them. Maybe sell to another Hobie owner?

My cart is the same as yours and I fixed it to work by extending one "leg" of the cart that the pin is on. I found some scrap aluminum that fit rather tight, and jammed it the cart's material. Extended it about two inches maybe and drilled the hole in the new material.
