After a season of heavy use in the salt. The PA has been great. With use the keel has some scratches that i would like to heal/repair. What would be the best way to do this?

I think its best to leave the roughed up plastic in place. This is an added barrier from further wear. If you sand it off you accelerate wear.

was thinking of some heat to meld the scratches.
