I've been shopping around for a pair of Pro Anglers, and so far the best price I can get is 5% off of retail. Is that about as good as you can expect? I would think that with this economy and considering I'm buying 2 I could get a little better price. |

Thats a good deal. Hobie does not allow discounting, most dealers can't keep enough inventory anyways, this economy drive kayak sales, not hurt them. The Hobie products are a great value and worth every penny. See if they will give you a bit more if you pay cash/check to save on the credit card fees. |

If you know what accessories (cart, sail, PFD, etc.) you want at the time of purchase, this might be the best time to strike a "package deal". The dealers might have a little more leeway on these items and they can otherwise be more costly. |
