Got my new P.A., finally, after a long winter of planning and waiting. Took her on a test run today. Logged almost 4 miles. While a feel like I got some good exercise, I certainly did'nt return tired in the least. The P.A. should be great for the waters I fish. While I did'nt fish today, I scouted out some of my spots and marked some good echoes on the F.F, which got my blood going. Maybe next week.
I've got the boat on a trailer sitting flat on plywood right now. Next week I expect to get a set of cradles to mount it more safely.
Most of the rigging is done. Got a few more things to add. This site has been great for its wealth of rigging ideas from many P.A. owners. -Hope to add a few of my own in time.
Capt. Jerry at Captain Kayak was just great, answering all of my questions and setting me up with all the right gear. I highly recommend him to anyone in the area.
Hope to post some pictures of fish soon!

Sounds familiar to my experience with one exception... MINE HASN'T SEEN THE WATER YET!!!!!!! Love the color scheme (same one I chose)! Congratulations Damfisher and good luck hauling many a fish into it!

GR8 Laker

PS. Let us know how the cradles work out.

Those are RAM "Revolution" tubes. Item # 72023013 in the Hobie parts catalog. Great rod holders. Infinately adjustable, but too short as is. No problem, though, just cut the ends off like Sifisto. Check out his posts if you have'nt already. He is the wizard of PA rigging.
