Was out fishing today when I noticed a mate on the shore was having trouble with his PA. The steering assembly under the seat had fallen apart. He was upset as this was the third time this has happened and it had been fixed by a dealer twice already. He has lost all faith in his PA as once before he was out miles and he had to paddle in because he lost his steering. Is this a common problem or just a one of.

Never heard this one before. The screw (that holds the drum together) threads may be damaged or need Loc-Tite.

Thanks Geoff
