Hey guys, I'm a pretty new PA owner. I just won one at a kayak tournament but at this point cant even use it because I don't own a truck. I do have a camry and will probably put a hitch on it, but I do have several questions. For you guys who converted a jet ski trailer to a PA trailer, are there certain trailers that worked better or are they all pretty much the same? What did you have to do to make it fit the PA? Did you have to add things such as padding? Cradles? Etc? Will a Camry even be strong enough to pull a PA on a ski trailer? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have such a great fishing machine and I cant even use it .... How Frustrating! |

Congrats on your win! There are a number of great post in/on this forum about trailers. Search under PA Cradles. viewtopic.php?f=78&t=19974&hilit=Hobie+Pro+Angler+Cradles I made mine by following Cracka's topic and I pmed him as well and he was a ton of help. These Cradles when done correctly, will work fine. I got mine from Austin Kayaks. Your Car will pull it just fine. As you take a look at these you'll see it's easy to build. I got a small jet ski trailer for a few bucks and built the frame just like Mick did his. Make sure you are at 67" apart. Hope this helps. |

I purchased a double jet ski trailer and with the exception of moving the running boards to best fit the hull's of my PA and outback have done nothing to it. A trailer is absolutely the way to go. |

Thanks for the info and the pictures. Did you have to put a longer tongue on the trailer? I live in New Jersey and the law is that your boat can only stick out pass the trailer a maximum of 24 inches. How far off the trailer is your rig? Thanks |
