Yesterday while paddling in some shallow water Paddle snapped off right where paddle meets the shaft. My Pro Angler is new (won on 10/16/10) and got all the accessories. Is there a warranty on those paddles ? |

Yes. Contact your dealer. |

Gairiw ,although your paddle will be warrantied by Hobie(best kayak in the industry); I'd upgrade to a fiberglass handle that Hobie makes. With the extra strain you'll be putting on it, the OEM paddle may not last. All my Hobies have upgraded paddles, never an issue with a better paddle. Good luck, although Hobie will always have your back. |

We even experienced some issues with our fiberglass shaft paddles in the past few years, but have overcome them now. The paddles currently built are nice and solid. |
