Got my PA today I'm super stoked! Adapted a new Hawg Trough bracket we've been working on and put it on the grab rails of the PA. |

That is simple yet awesome! Was that designed to support the weight of a fish as well? |

I really want to add that feature to my PA. I can find the Hawg Trough. Where do I get those great clamps? Thanks! |

We're refining the design and should have production parts by Mid April if not before. Thanks everyone for the great feedback. If you see anything we should consider improving or changing don't hesitate to let me know! |

Have you thought of adding rubber tie down mounts to the brackets? It would help keep the fish secure while taking pictures. |

I haven't broke down and looked into getting the Hawg Trough yet or those unique mounts for the rails. Since I've had my red aluminum measuring stick for years and I can't see it not being used, I came up with the mounting idea below. While the rod holders do come in handy, I have found that I do not use them a lot. I had the Hobie rod extension tubes in the rear with a rod in each and my two rod mount son the fron mounting boards. If I was to carry more than four dors, then I'd probably use the right side rod holdrers. I used some of that neat adhesive back matting that Chris Stewart sent me as a sample from kayakfishinggear.com (Hook1) and made 2 small bungie attachments to hold it in place. Works like a charm! The backing holds it in place and it's easy to slide the front in and tuck the stern facing end under the rear bungie. I just thought I would add it to this thread and share the idea. |

the side rails on my PA already are being used by my FF and rod holders, will have to come up with some way of mounting a measuring device on the floor, this trout flopped out of the net and just laid on the floor. |

Nice trout. The side board mounting I made is just for storing the measuring ruler. I would still take it out and lay in on the cutting board, the floor or my lap to measure a fish. I hope folks aren't thinking that's a measuring location...lol. The Hawg Trough setup is definitely a measuring location. |
