Hi there, I'm really looking forward to getting my new PA 14 in a few days. I plan on using it around Sandy Hook ,nj, along with some warm water lakes and ponds. I am curious to hear about what accessories everyone suggests to add, along with suggestions for hauling. I have a full size dodge PU with a cap. I plan on sliding the yak into the back to haul. I also plan on adding an H Post, and anchor system. I will be Flyfishing from he yak, and can't wait to get on the water.

Hello and welcome! I would suggest getting used to your PA and when you are on the water thinking of how what you would like and where you want it. I recommend rod holders, anchor trolley, camera mount, fish finder and the HD cart, but not all necessary depending on how you will use it. You mentioned the H-bar, also think about a stripping basket if you are going to be flyfishing. I trailer mine so I can have room for gear and/or people but you should be fine with the PA in the bed of your truck. Good luck!

To move the kayak around I use the large eezee cart and rail kit. The best price so far I found for the cart is from tackle direct. The straps they give you are to short for the width of the PA. Your have to add to them.

To transport the kayak, I use the bed of pickup and bed extender.

+1 on what MrG said. Get out on the water and visualize where you want things. It will save you from multiple re-rigs. Enjoy your new PA.

I tried fly fishing from my PA standing, but the first thing you learn is that the instant you stand, you have no way to propel or steer the boat.

So I returned to a seated position. Dropped a large towel over the side of the boat I was fishing from (to cover any protrusions and gear that a fly line could snag on) and was off to the races. I think this is the very best way to fly fish from the PA.

If you do wish to stand and fish, face towards the stern. Fold the seat down and it will function as a great stripping basket.
