Right now my PA14 is sitting on a piece of plywood. ( on the floor )
How should i keep it , so no harm will come to the hull? I heard about 2" PVC pipe and something about a mattress. Any suggestions please. Thanks!

My trailer is sitting on 4" black drain pipe that is mounted on my trailer's cross bars. I used to have 6 Yakima Mako saddles on the trailer but the PA was getting dented where the PA sat on the saddles.
The main reason I went with 4" pipe is so I could get my hand inside to tighten the u-bolts that are used to secure the pipes to the load bars.
The trailer is a late 1940's 1/4 ton Bantam civilian trailer:

I have 2 old padded beach chairs that I use. Works well enough for me.

If you could post a picture showing your beach chair set up, that would be great. Thanks.
