Bassyaks has designed a 12 volt motor kit for the Pro Angler 12, this kit is even better than the 14's. The batteries, either 1 or 2 22NF 55Ahrs will fit inside the center hatch and still will allow the plano boxes to be stowed as intended. The foot pedals are completely out of the way and still you'll be able to stow your rods as intended. The Bracket setup is the same as on the 14. The choices of a 30 ,40, or 45 thrust lb motor combined with the new speed prop will put this boat in the 6.5 - 7 mph range and with a capacity of 110 Ahrs , you may be looking at 10 hours of run time. The throttle control will be a PWM electronic speed control with variable speed control and extended run times Check out Bassyaks.com |

More...more pictures! Looks like the steering pedals are mounted directly under or on the side boards? Do you have to remove the battery from the center hatch compartment to charge or is there an external plug in? How about a volt meter? |

The steering works great, and it doesn't interfere with the rod storage. the motor can turn almost 90 degrees so the PA12 will turn in it's own length as shown here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79siNWDE ... detailpage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WVm_qtyNEg I have it hooked up where the battery does not have a onboard plug, the PA is heavy enough, that's my only complaint. here's a quick pan of the setup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmETHDrb26A tight lines Steve |
