This new feature on the PA 12 is very well thought out and simple to use. I currently have a Garmin FF installed on my Outback. I would like to remount this on the PA 12. I will be unable to remove the tranducer from the Outback and will need to purchase a new transducer.

Does anyone have any ideas on how other brand transducers will fit into the Lowrance mounting system installed on the PA 12?

I think mounting options for other brands of fish finders are available. Check with your dealer or call hobie.

I just installed a Humminbird DI , what I did is glued the transducer to the removable plate with marine goop, it works great.
