| Post subject: | Ever tow your PA behind your boat? |
My center console isn't big enough to bring it aboard, but while everyone else is sunning on the back side of the island, I'd like to fish offshore. Anyone ever towed their PA? Rudder up?, or down? Don't expect to run fast and will center it off a bridle, adjusting distance to keep it behind the wake. |

If you are going to idle speed you would not have a problem. but at hight speeds the scuppers will push water into the yak deck area and flood the deck. On the PA the horizontal rod holder opening will flood the inside of the yak. Good Luck with trying to tow the yak. |

Very good to know as I too was going to tow mine. Now will have to rethink that option. |

Thanks for the response about flooding the scuppers. Then there's the geyser that will probably erupt through the Mirage Drive opening, even with the plug in place. I don't think I'd want that pressure on the clips that hold the drive. I'm glad I asked before going. I've pulled canoes and traditional kayaks before, but both had solid bottoms. |
