Here is my latest video. I am using the Drift HD camera, alternately mounted on the far aft deck, or in the mast hole. I finally settled on PowerDirector 11 for the editing. Seems to be working out OK. The HD video takes up a HUGE amount of storage space on the laptop, though. Serious video production would definitely require a dedicated desktop. For my weekend activities, though, this works fine.

Nice video and salmon! Congrats!

One suggestion...to prevent your laptop from filling up with video you may want to consider a portable hard-drive..or 2. They are super cheap and hold a lot of footage. I spent time the past few months figuring out rigging options for my Gopro and waterproof camera/video on my PA. I've come up with some pretty cool ways to video from land and kayak. I even came up with a couple ways to get underwater footage. I'm heading out on a 3 week trip and hopefully will have some good footage when I return. Congrats again on the nice video and fish!
