I am probably going to be purchasing a PA 12 to go along with my Outfitter and I had a question about using the PA in skinny water. With the Mirage drive removed and the rudder stowed, how user friendly is the PA to standing and poling in 6" or so of water? Is this even an option? What would be the minimum depth that this is possible?

This will by no means keep me from getting a new PA, just curious how it would work out as a platform to pole around some of the skinny water South Texas flats. Thanks in advance!

Would be great I'd think. 6"? no drive and rudder up... no problem.
