I tried two days ago, it's difficult to control the boat. I think the rudder is too small for sailing. With a strong tailwind, the control is even more difficult, are needed constant course corrections.

It does pretty well under sail all things considered. Because the sail is boomless, it's not very fast straight downwind. Otherwise the sail is a nice option to have for it.

And like a "real" sailboat, yes it needs constant course corrections. Unlike a "real" sailboat, it doesn't have much weather helm (on a "real" sailboat if you let go of the tiller/rudder the boat will automatically turn up into the wind).
