What kind of temperature range can the PA handle while being stored without damage?

I'm going to be buying a house in the near future and shortly after a new PA 14. The house is located in the KC area and has a detached unheated garage. We have hot summers and cold winters here and I was wondering it the temperature extremes (especially the winter temps) will damage the yak? It will be used during most of spring summer and fall but will probably be stored and unused during the winter months.

It will be properly supported but I'm concerned about it sitting in freezing or near freezing temps. Will the plastics that the yak is made from be able to handle the cold temps without damage?

In St Louis (until now), we stored our boats in unheated garage since 2007 and absolutely no issues/problems. In the summertime, the boats sat on the trailer outside in the heat. Again, not an issue and we're pretty obsessive about our boats.

I wouldn't be concerned about the cold weather. It is the hot weather that can simply melt you kayak :x When storing, keep it out of the direct sunlight and never, never, never use a dark boat cover to protect it from the sun. Also, don't strap/tie the kayak down when storing. When transporting, snug the tie-down straps and loosen immediately upon arrival at your destination.
