After analizing the capsize for the last couple days, The H bar was deployed, when I lost my balance
I got ahold of the H bar as I was falling, this provided the necessary leverage to tiurn the pa over. I
dont think it is possible to roll the boat over by stepping on the side rail. Must have some kind of leverage. The whole mishap seemed to be in slow motion. Just falling over the siide is not going to roll to roll the boat. Beware when the h bar is deployed. Given up on the out rigger idea. Will be back
Fishing soon as I get the new seat. Thought of trying a milk crate or beach chair.

That is one of the major reasons I don't like the H-Bar. If you start tipping and you grab the bar, you can certainly count on flipping the PA.

My feelings are that if you can't stand up in the PA without assistance, then you shouldn't be standing up in the PA in the first place. Some things just aren't meant to be :!:

I have the H-bar and like it but can certainly see where instinct could take over during the course of a fall and cause someone to grab ahold of it. No doubt that is what caused the boat to flip. So sorry you learned the hard way, but thanks for sharing your lesson. :D
