Myak....I feel for you.....I can tell you the blocks are simply "stuffed inside the hull"...friction placed and no screws are used.

A tip for those of you who need to install the same equipment......I used my 1" wide, 30 foot tape measure to "fish/feed" the cables inside the hull.

Too late now, but I wish I had numbered mine before taking them out! Doing so would have shown me where to put them and in what orientation ... :oops:

When we do installs we are overly careful to place the blocks out on the bench so we know which ones go where. a good idea would be to number them from front to beach, put an up arrow on them and know that the number faces the center of the boat when reinstalling them.

I do not know of a "diagram" that can help you just some trial an error.

Help Matt Miller, I removed my grey styrofoam blocks and now I need help (diagrams and directions) to reinstall them. There a (5) different pairs of grey styrofoam blocks that I removed when I was trying to connect my GPS, FF, depth finder, and battery connections. White styrofoam blocks on the side of my PA14: Are these blocks held in by screws and how do I correctly remove and replace these white blocks without destroying my PA14? Diagrams and directions please!!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance!!!!!

hmm... is everyone's deck also lumpy? i can understand a slow rolling up and downs as per styrofoam installs... but my styrofoams, all grey, seem to be odd shaped for the location(meaning curves seem to go backwards against the hull curvature) is it possible to order replacement foams? only ask because after coming back from outing, seems the foams like to shift around too...

kh1970......have you considered using some thin plastic sheets to "shim" the blocks? If you hull is basically dry, I would suggest wooden shims like door and window installation shims..... If the gap is really large.....like 1/8', you could use a 3 tab roofing shingle as a shim.....this would last a long time and water exposure is a non-issue.

It could be that the reason your styrofoam blocks are loose is because you have them spaced to far back in the PA. There is a slight taper from front to back. Shove them forward and they should fit fine.
