Does anybody know if the Dragonfly fits in the Lowrance transducer fitting on the Hobie pro Angler14?

From what I've read the transducer is 8" long. So no, it wouldn't fit.

The Dragonfly will fit under the cover, but the tabs that are to hold the transducer inside will need to be removed.

Wow, this surprises me! Do you have any pictures of your install?

That's right, remove the tabs and the cover will hold the transducer in place. I've had mine for a month now on my PA 14 and it's amazing!

Too bad the AI does not have provisions for mounting like the PA. I would be all over a Dragonfly. Does anyone have an opinion regarding shooting thru hull with the dragonfly?

Those are some great pics, thank you! May have to trade in the Humminbird.

West Marine has it on sale for $499 this week with Gold Navionics....savings of $220. They were nice enough to refund me the difference in price since I bought mine just a few weeks ago. I promptly spent it all on a pair of VHF radio's. :D

Great Deal! Wish I would have seen this earlier. I am really digging the dragonfly.

I just ordered a Dragonfly, have you had any long term issues with the transducer placement?

I was wondering what kind of battery you used and how you hooked it up. I just ordered a dragonfly and am researching power supply hook ups while I wait for delivery. My previous fishfinder was a hummingbird fishing buddy so it was all self contained. It worked just fine but the dragonfly looked so cool I upgraded.
