I second the motion to consider the YakAttack BackPak. It really helps with storage and additional rod-holders. What are you doing for transport and storage?

Converted jet ski trailer I bought for $150. Works really well. And I have a dedicated kayak shed.

I had a pair of 4" YakAttack GT175 on my first PA12 for a RAM Tube 2008 & Lowrance Mark-4.....kept hitting them when I was either poling or using a SUP while standing.

When I got my latest PA12 this past July, I decided to go with a pair of 12" GT90's installed (w/backing) on the gunnels between the side boards and side handles and replaced the tube with a YakAttack Zooka Tube/RAM Tube Jr....problem solved.

I use a YakAttack BlackPak installed with my "Bombproof Mounting System", I started with 1 single 12" GT90 to hold a VISICarbon Pro and Panfish camera pole for a Swann HD video camera.
I've since switched the single track for a pair of 12" GTSL90's in yellow.

Currently, I use either a 6 or 8' Park-n-Pole in conjunction with a starboard mounted anchor trolley, I was planning on installing another on the port side but may hold off on that as I have a Power-Pole Micro Anchor waiting for pick-up at the factory in Tampa (May 8th :D ).

I used this Harmony SlideTrax Molded Fitting on my trolley in place of the small black nylon cable clamp...does a great job of keeping the lines out of the cockpit.

* Would love to install a SeaDeck or Ocean Grip deck treatment, but I go into a new boat every July.

I love the track mounted on the gunnel. I was thinking about doing this as well.

the one thing i did forget is i will be adding the yak attack blackpak to this list

I love the Blackpak for all the versatility that it adds. Do you do any trolling? I built a DIY rodrack for my PA12 that really gets it done and offers lots of room for storage. I have a crate that I built the rod holder around that will hold all my extra tackle (with a cargo net to cover in case....) or can add a large bucket for live bait, etc.

LtFireDog, what kind of clamp(s) is that holding your "fish measuring device"???

The measuring device is a Hawg Trough from HOOK1 and the mounts are from YakAttack.

I use the Hawg Trough for freshwater tourneys and have a "Mudfish fish measuring jig" DIY measuring board (w/321Fi$h ruler decal) for saltwater.

if you had a "more than enough" budget to sink into an "ultimate pro angler" what would you get??
Larger rudder

Can you provide any details on the "large rudder". I've read a little on the PA14 rudders performance and was curious aside from custom what folks were using and if there is a make/model upgrade from Hobie or 3rd party?

What size is that HOOK1 decal Lt.FireDog? Is it the 17.5x3 or the 28x5.5? I'm torn between the two.
