Hi All,

New to the forum and recently picked up a used 2010 PA 14. Hit the water twice and have now made up my mind to invest in the steering upgrade to move it away off the seat. I was quoted $190 from a local shop to order the kit, yikes! :shock: That's pretty steep!

However, I came across the nice diy guide (http://www.kayakfishingmagazine.net/articles/102-current-issue-featured-articles-on-kayak-fishing/1318-hobie-pro-angler-steering-upgrade-.html) and noticed the kit only cost $85 a few years back... Anybody know any place that might still have these in stock and under $100?

The early kits were way under priced. Quickly came up over the years. It is an expensive bunch of parts.

Aww dang. Okay. Thank you for the part #. I'll run that by my local shop and see if they can help me get a kit.
