The wire size that comes with the Hobie battery kit is too large to fit in the orange connector supplied. I pushed and twisted wire in the connector but it won't fit all the way in. Is there a work around? The Lowrance wires do fit in the holes.

Are you twisting two wires together and then trying to insert?

You have the plastic coating stripped off?

The orange connectors that come with the battery you don't twist. You push each wire into each hole and press down the orange button. You are not supposed to strip the wire. it is supposed to fit. I went to the hardware store and purchased silicone twist connectors. That solved the problem.
