Just wondering if the Hobie Pro Angler would be a suitable boat for the WaterTribe's Everglade Challenge. I know the Pro Angler is a fantastic fishing kayak and has great balance in choppy water but is it fast enough to complete the EC?

Anyone here who participated in the EC has either used a PA or seen a PA complete the challenge?

The PA has good initial stability, but not so good secondary stability. You could expect it to be blown around a bit and should you need to paddle it, well, they're not really very good for that either.

I'm not saying you couldn't do it in a PA, but it wouldn't be my first, second, third or even 10th choice for that race.
