Hello, I'm new to Hobie forum, not sure which sections to posed this in. I had just purchased a 2017 pro angler 12 camo version but it came in with a broken mirage drive 180. I messaged the dealer that I got it from, and was send a replacement but the replacement was all beat up used (dirty and has sractches), and also it not in camo version mirage 180 drive with st-turbo fin (not sure if it st-turbo fin or what?) My question is does the replacement all come in used? Do Hobie send in used for replacement to dealer? Anyone got new or used from replacement mirage drive? Any adivice how to proced, not yet angry, keeping my cool.

Thank You.

This would have been a freight damage issue. The replacement should be new and the same product. Perhaps they wanted to get you on the water and allow them time to recover, repair and return the original drive to you?

In any case, go back to the dealer for any issues you are having.

You need to pull the shifters (fwd and rev) - it's just the slack - shouldn't be an issue... If you're having any issues - talk to your dealer.
