I put in an order for a 180 drive for my 17T back in February. At that time they told me it was on back order until roughly June. I get that June was just an initial estimate, but is there any word on when they may be available for individual purchase? |

We may be able to start shipping this month. We have a large backorder to work through, so depends on how far up the list your order is in our system. |

I purchased a 2020 Compass from a dealer a few weeks ago and upgraded to the MD180. The MD that came with the kayak was sent back to Hobie. According to the dealer, they are unsure when the drive will be shipped. At this point, the Compass is unusable until I get the drive. When can I expect it? |

You would have to get that information from the dealer. We are about 3 weeks behind in shipping parts orders, so that could be the issue. |

Thanks for the quick response Matt. I’ll check with the dealer, but if I’m inferring right, the MD180 should ship any day since we’re at the 3 wk mark now. |

They are in stock and now showing orders no older than July 6th. If in that order range (3 weeks ago) range ... should ship soon. |

While I have the peddle drive, I know for a fact my 2020 compass paddles fine and can be a blast without it. |
