The shaft broke off the up/down rudder assembly. I can't find a replacement. Any guidance?

Parts diagram on page 64 has the part numbers listed on the lower left.

You can use our parts lookup tool to see what each part looks like. You can enter a part number, partial number or any word or partial description text to get results:

The rudder mount has changed, so you need to be sure you select the correct one. If you have the older version (If your drum had a roll pin or cotter key holding it to the mount)... you need to upgrade the drum, pin and get a screw.

The newer version has a screw on the top:

84500402 RDR MOUNT, UNDER HULL (SCREW) US$ 27.59

The black part is: 84500201 RUDDER HOUSING, UNDER HULL

The screw that holds the rudder to the mount is two parts:

84502301 SISTER SCREW, PRO RDR ASSY

8031490 SCREW SCREW 8-32 X 1/2 FHMS-P

The parts on the top under the black plate are:

8030126 SCREW (Says hex, but may be phillips)

Matt,

I have the old style with the roll pin. I had replaced that with a cotter pin. I was able to easily remove the screw and sister screw for the rudder housing and the housing and spring are in good shape so I just need the rudder mount and the steering drum. Which screw do I need to attach those together?
