Hello! New member here! I'm selling my bass boat and getting ready to purchase either a hobie outback or a pro angler to try something new! I just bought a 2014 Toyota Prius and would really like some help on which roof rack i should purchase to be able to haul either one of them? I'd like to do it right the first time, so what is the best system would you guys would recommend? I'll also be installing a hitch on it to pull a trailer but would like to be able to put it on the roof when needed! Thanks |

If no one here has had the experience... I would contact the Car Dealer for suggestions and then a rack company. Thule Rhino Rack Yakima |

Contacted Thule today and they said that they could recommend a rack but couldn't recommend a kayak holder for a pro angler because their maximum weight limit is 80 pounds! I've seen some pics of hobies on car tops, so what holders are you guys using that would work with them? Thanks |

Sorry messed that last post up, it was Yakima that couldn't recommend a holder for the hobie! Contacted Thule also but they didn't give any recommendations |

Go over to "Hobie Kayak Fishing" page on Facebook then search for Prius. There are some guys there who roof rack Hobies on Prius'. |

I have a 2005 Prius and have had a Saris rack with saddles for my PA on my Prius since 2009. Don't know if they make the saddles anymore but you can check ebay |

Any thoughts on using a Rhino side loader with this? |
