Just picked up a lightly used 2017 PA 14 that was kind of dirty, I thought. It has stains that look like dirt but are not. What are you guys using to clean these Yaks? I tried a little MEK and a little Acetone and neither did much good. I was happy they didn't pull the color out though.

Plan on using it in the Rockport, Port Aransas, Aransas Pass area of Texas.

I have good luck with magic eraser before. I had a dark stain on side of the hull that Hobie Stain remover worked like a charm.

Acetone??? Yikes! I would steer clear of acetone for sure. Just get it cleaned up with soap and water (sure magic eraser is fine) and fix/replace other things as needed, then worry about stains.

Thanks to all! The Magic Eraser worked like, well, magic. The boat is in great shape with nothing to fix. I'll be adding some trinkets though.

I bought my PA 14 demo model and the bottom was full of scratches and I was regretting getting used. After not even a full season I've added a bunch more plus dirt and grime. I wouldn't worry too much, if you fish it hard like I do it's going to get dirty with full of scrapesbtheres no way of avoiding it.
