Need an extension so the Pro Angler Paddle Clip will clear above Boonedox. Where the Paddle clip screws into the deck need to be 2.5 to 3" higher. I tried some hardware store plumbing fixtures but the threads on the Paddle Clip and in the deck are not a size that I found. I tried moving the Paddle Clip back to the side where the eye was. This works but kills access to using the in deck rod holder.

Anyone have any ideas to keep using these very nice clips in the forward holes?

Does epoxy bond to the hull material? I'm thinking of molding a set of extensions to resolve my desire to still use these paddle clips.

You need an epoxy/glue that will bond with PE...regular epoxy will not. From what I've gathered here this stuff is king: https://www.amazon.com/Loctite-1677288- ... ctite+3035 I'm using it today in fact (finally getting around to doing it) to repair my cam columns on my 2008 Revo 13: https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=62945

I got this figured out! Using a small 3/4 plumbing extension and a 3" long 1/4 countersunk screw to bolt the rig to the flange of the Boonedox.

Not sure how to add pictures if they are not on another website.

It's a shame this forum doesn't support pictures but it doesn't. Anyone who has this issue and really wants to see pictures of the cure, just PM me with a phone number that will accept text pictures.
