So, after almost 5 weeks of testing (kayak fishing - don't you love it) the 12v 10aH battery outlasts me. That includes running a Lowrance Elite 5 Chirp from 4:30am to 4:30pm. The 6v 10aH didn't fair as well, which makes me believe that it is not what it claims to be (imagine that). Running only the Hobie Livewell, it has averaged about 3 hours. Now, I have switched it to a back up battery and use my Interstate 6v 9aH battery, which lasts about 10 hours. So, all in all, I took a risk buying Chinese batteries, but I think it was worth it, for the cost. Now, we'll see how long they last, as lithium batteries are supposed to have a longer lifespan.
I have a 12V 18AH Battery and I only run my fish-finder Elite 7 on it, in your opinion would it be safe or rather would the battery last 6 hours on the water if i connected both the live well and the Elite 7 on one 12V 18AH battery?
