So, I got into my 1st Mod on my PA14 this weekend, with a Humminbird Helix 7 install, Transom H-rail mounted transducer, etc.
Anyhoo.... What is the deal with the flotation foam or articles that come stock within the hull on the Pro Anglers?
What I’m asking is, what specific pieces of the foam stuff in the Hull are standard stock? And is there any rhyme or reason to the location of these foam pieces.
My 2016 PA14 came to me from previous owner, with pieces that look from Hobie, but then I’ve got a half dozen Pool Noodles that are stuffed up there as well, and some other random foamy things.

Do I need to worry about specific location of this stuff?

Hobie puts foam blocks in specific spots to support the deck when standing and under your seat. Some people added pool noodles for extra flotation, I have not done this to mine and don’t plan to. The Hobie foam is important and the placement to answer your question.
