So purchased 2009 mirage drive outback few months ago to see if I would love this kayaking and I have really loved it but recently my miragedrive chain assembly snapped (V1) anyone know where I can purchase new ones seem to not find nothing no where thanks any help

You can order it from any Hobie dealer. 2009 was the first year for "V-2" Drives, so make sure you order the right part (they are different lengths). If you have a V-1 Drive, either your boat is older than you think or the Drive has been switched. The serial # on your boat tells the year of manufacture (last 2 digits). It's easy to distinguish V-1 vs V-2 Drives by the drums. 8)
