I'm trying to find an area anywhere in New England, where I can go kayaking for, let's say 4 days or more, where I can fish the days away, and camp in a tent when I get tired, on the shore. I'm looking for any secluded lakes or rivers where there is no developments, no people in sight. Is there anyone out here that can point me in the right direction? I've spent countless hours searching the web for places like this. Anything that I found is thousands of miles away. PLEASE HELP!

Although I have no idea about New England, I do know lots about camping from our PA17T

Do not underestimate the amount of water you will use. We line the haul with bottles of water. Our primary camping is done in south west Florida with saltwater access. I wish you great success in finding those secluded kayak in camping spots, because it is heaven.

The Adirondack Park in northern New York has many many places like this. There are some that don't allow any motored boats as well, and many have campsites along the shore and on islands, with the nearest car being many miles way.

As examples, check out Lake Lila, Little Tupper Lake, Indian Lake, and Stillwater Reservoir.
