I received a email from ACK on my spare V2 battery I purchased. Torqeedo has a recall on the Travel and Ultralight to be sent in for inspection and repair if needed for possible water intrusion I believe. I filled out there form after checking my serial numbers from the list of affected battery. Received a prompt reply saying they would send me boxes to pack batteries in for shipment.

This is the cool part of the email. They offered me to upgrade to there new 915 WH battery if I wanted. My battery is 7 years old and they offered me 40 percent of the original cost of my old battery towards purchasing the 915 WH battery. I was wanting to get a new high capacity 915 WH so this worked out great and saved me some bucks.

I always have loved my evolve and never had any trouble with anything. Nothing but Torqeedo products for me.

Yeah I’m really looking forward to the extended run time for fishing the salt. There is quite a few places that I wanted to fish but right on the line of being out of range. Now that I will be getting the 915 and I have a brand new V2 320WH backup Battery I will be exploring a lot of new places.

Sorry to high jack your thread, but what is the slowest the torquedo will go? Is 2.6 MPH the minimum or will it troll even slower? Please let me know.

Infinite adjustment. Yes, it will troll very slowly.
