Hello, I have a 2012 Hobie PA and would like to see if it is possible to switch to a mirage drive 180 w/turbo fins. I have emailed different dealers and asked if this is possible since it came with a V2/turbo drive and it is about 50/50 on the yes and no answer. The pin looks like it is in the same position but I just don't want to buy the drive and it not be compatible. I also would like to get another Boondox landing gear like i had on my other kayak but the new one made for the pro angler specs it for 2015 or newer. I dont know if there has been a hull design change so it would not work with a 2012 PA? Thank you for the info John |

The MD 180 will fit your boat. No problem. Any boat with the alignment pin slots and then by cutting those off... most older boats too. The spine has a fairing that could have fit issues on old boats. |
