I’ll preface by saying I really would like to have the Fold and Stow cart. I can’t, however decide if it is sufficient for my PA 12, or if it would be too small. I’ve had the heavy duty cart before, and it was okay. I would like to have the Fold and stow for travel though.

What are your thoughts?

Fold and Stow has a 175# Capacity. 50 lbs less than the HD. Should be enough. Due to the folding feature, the frame is not as stiff. Depends on the conditions you use it in I'd guess.

Mostly boat ramps. Some rocky, grassy terrain going into ponds and such. I figured out any cart but the balloon tire version is useless in North Florida sand. I go there only once a year if that. I had to drag my PA 14. What a chore. I would go with the balloon tires if they didn’t take up so much room, and I wasn’t afraid I would pop them on a rock.

The less stiff frame has me concerned on the fold and stow.

Especially if you are loading the boat up with gear.
