I'm about to take delivery on a new Trailblazer trailer supplied by Lancaster County Marine. Mine has 78" aero crossbars which are great for keeping saddles from rotating (if you use saddles or cradles). This trailer is built to back into the water...all galvanized box beams, torsion suspension with no leaf springs (expecting a very smooth and stable ride, sealed lighting, all wiring is concealed, folding tongue, 1250 lb capacity, cast aluminum wheels, radial tires, and there is an option to add a second level if you want a cargo box or have more kayaks.
This is a pricy trailer but it's built extremely well and will allow me to launch either my PA14 or my 2019 Outback fully rigged without the heavy lifting issue. Tie a rope onto the kayak, push it off the trailer, then go park the car and trailer. There is adequate width to carry both of these kayaks together. The only other ingredient required is a boat ramp.
No boat ramp? This is a low enough mount that it's at least easier to unload and load.
You can check out the specific features and even comparisons with other kayak trailers on YouTube. Like I said, it's not the cheapest way to go, but that's not what I was looking for to pull my expensive kayaks long distances. I'll update this after some usage.
