Hey all, Just joined the forum first post, Just purchased a Hobie Pro Angler 14, I'm not home right now but I want to start planning a bench to store and work on it, I was hoping someone could tell me the dimensions I should use for spacing 3" PVC pipe or carpeted 2X4's to align up with the body channels on the bottom?

If anybody wants to recommend outriggers I'm listening too, I like Hobies design but I read they use plastic buttons where the pieces go together, is this true?, this is my first kayak, I'm almost retired and have some leg issues and figured this would be a great way to exercise my legs and fish too. I'd really rather not take any dips but will be preparing for it as well as wearing a PDF.

EDIT: I didn’t know there wouldbe a 24 hour turnaround for my first post, no worries on the bottom dim.
