Hi guys and girls.
My right side steering riser sits a fair bit looser than the left. It has a bit of play for some reason.
I've taken the screw out which holds the handle and the riser seems to be sitting on the pin ok.
Store I bought it from reckons some are just like that and not to worry. They've taken note of it as it's still under warranty and if it does fail on me they'll do something about it.
Still I'd like to know how to fix it. Anyone had the same issue? Or know more than me about it?
I sent a video to hobie months ago but got no reply.
Cheers.

Hi. I did this. Didn't make a difference. I reckon the actual thing the riser sits on is loose(metal thread with pin going through it). Therefore as the riser sits on it that's loose too. How is that thread and pin secured inside the yak? Perhaps something is loose that holds it in. Or the rudder cables that are attached to that have more slack than the left side.
Please reply I'd like to know what you think.
Cheers

Yeh mines nit the handle. It's the riser under the handle
