Hello. I have a 2016 Hobie PA12. My skeg is in the down position and will not raise up. It isnt stuck or anything, I can move it up and down freely by pushing up on the bottom of the skeg. The T-Handle that is used to raise and lower the skeg doesn't have any pressure on it. Looking inside the hull, I can see the cheek block laying in the bottom, and it appears that all cables are connected to it. I am guessing that the connection in the front of the kayak has broken loose, but cannnot tell where it is supposed to be connected. Does anyone have a detailed diagram that will show the proper routing of all skeg cables, and where they should be connected, and also what parts might be needed? Thank you!! MillYak |

Thank you Doc!! I think that will help, it shows the block attached to the kayak via 2 screws, I think mine is laying on the bottom of the inside of the hull. |
