Looking into getting a pro angler 360 this season, i got a quote from my local dealer, $4400 for a 2022 model or $5800 for a 2024 with the new xr drive. My main concern is durability, has anyone here had or heard of issues with a 2022 model 360? From what I can some parts have been replaced with metal on the newer one to prevent failure, I also like the new feature where you can lock the drive and make it a 180. I can afford either one, but its still a lot of money obviously. I consider it an investment that I want to last me a while (with proper maintenance and storage of course). Thanks for your advice! |

In your situation I'd get the XR without hesitation. The drive mount is superior and there are beneficial hull changes. I'd be worried about warranty on the 2022, not sure you'll get a full 3-year warranty. With the 2024 it won't be a worry. Peter |

I think the extra money for the 2024 XR model is worth it for the long run. Boats are a major investment, so getting one you know will last with fewer potential issues is important. The drivetrain upgrades alone on the new model sound worthwhile. Maybe see if your dealer would come down a bit more on the price too since it's a bigger purchase. Either way, you'll get more years of enjoyment out of the XR. |
