Please add 2012 events in Divison 9

Here's what I know of...

Fleet 32 (VA)
Sail the Bay - May 19th and 20th
Rappahannock River Regatta — Friday, June 8 at 4:00pm in Farnham, Virginia.

Anyone have dates for other 2012 events?
Duck Cup?, Hatteras?, Outback?

EMSA list is:

http://www.emsa-sailing.org/schedule.htm

Big kickoff for vets is Spring Fever in GA. The Pee Dee Classic is on a nuclear power plant warmed lake and is supposed to be fun and casual.

Right now I need so much more practice time. Just fighting to get time on the water... Don't want to race. Just want to ride!

Those people are actually cat sailors. The motor cycle ad people just swiped their comments.

The Rappahannock River Regatta thing does look nice.

The EMSA events are a lot of fun. They are open to all makes of boats, and are a very friendly group of people. I went to my first race last March after only have been sailing for less than a year. They were extremely helpful and patient with me haha. We would love to see more cats attend the events. Spring Fever is a big event, but not limited to vets. I sailed it last year as my 3rd ever regatta. There were close to 90 cats there I think! They have a Yahoo group you can join to get updates and find info you need, It's called catamaran crazy. Hope to see some new faces this year...

Spring fever had a big H16 class last year and it's a three day race Friday-sunday. Cat vest on lake norman(Charlotte) had a small 16 fleet, and the racers in the outer banks and Va beach should have a 16 showing. I go to a lot of the EMSA events and I'm on a NACRA 500 which is similar to a H16. There's usually someone there I can race with whether it's a H18 or 16's. The group is mostly consisted of F16's F18's and A Cats though...

i think i going to try to make it to Spring fever and definitely Midwinters in Daytona Beach.

Strange you didn't see any of us out there. there is usually at least one of us that make it out every weekend during the summer. At least you found our launching spot. its usually a pretty sweet spot except, for all of the bricks and rubble coming out of the eroding sandunes.
