Hey Folks. We are trying to get a Hobie 16 class together for the NC Governor's cup at Kerr Lake, NC. Have two committed 16s and need two more to make a class. Who's in? Wow, that's kind of short notice and we are going away the following week but I will see what I can do. I have buddies in Raleigh that I could stay with. The race is 140 miles from here and 60 miles from them. I have no idea what I could do for crew, though. That might be a killer all by itself. Looks like there's about a mile of water in the race area. |

It is a pretty remote chance that I could make it; just nowhere near race ready, nine month old, traveling the following week, etc. Count me out for now. |

I think we are throwing in the towel on the Governor's cup - not enough interest. I'd love to join you guys down in Charleston, but I have a business trip on Friday and can't get there in time. |

I appreciate your trying to drum up Governor's Cup participation. It was worth a try. Possibly a second beachcat fleet in Carolina Sailing would work? There are several Prindles around and other Hobies in addition to the H16s. The Isotope Fleet is exclusive. |
