Post subject:  A day out with Captain Quinn

This is Captain Quinn. This is her first really small boat outing. Normally she is a watch leader aboard 80 foot BT Global challenge boats and and mentors young sailors on voyages to norway and stuff.
Pedalling for her is difficult, as Captain Quinn is partially paralysed down the right side due to a brain tumor and subsequent op when she was in her teens. We might try a wee pedal one day but its gonna require some persuasion and a leg splint mod. A Tandem Island would be easier and cheaper!

As Captian Quinn says "This would be a good boat for disabled people" followed by "Moosh Moosh...faster...you are not going fast enough.....I like this steering..it's on the left...they should make it be able to go on the right side for people with no left arms."

This is a Bronze age Crannog with a medieaval fortified house added later. A crannog is a man made island, with dwellings on stilts built on top. The vikings came down this way too.
